Sunday Morning Coffee

This one started with a Sunday morning and catching the moments of two women outside a coffee shop. They were so deep in conversation, so completely in their own world, that everything around them had stopped mattering. The street, the people passing, the noise, all of it just fell away.

That feeling of being so present with someone that the rest of the world blurs out. I wanted to capture that feeling and to try and paint that. The background is loose and moving, like it's still rushing past, but the two of them are sharp and still. Caught in that moment where it's just you and your person, and nothing else gets in.
