The feeling of new beginnings
Off into the Sunset was inspired by a weekend trip to Salcombe for a friends wedding. The weather was wonderful for most of the weekend - sun out, water sparkling and harbour full of small boats. This painting focuses on a single boat sailing off into the sunset. This painting is what came to mind when thinking about the memories of the weekend - simple, peaceful and the start of a new chapter of life.
