Lunch Break at Peanut Farm

Lunch breaks truly are different all over the world

I was in Sri Lanka with some friends for a 30th birthday trip. We were chilling on the beach, taking surf lessons, playing in the waves and soaking up some sun.

Two men came down with their lunch and stood right on the end of the sand bank, looking out to sea while they ate. They didn’t even have time to take their helmets off. It was just a cute moment. I don’t know why I loved it so much. I guess it’s such a stark difference to how my own lunch breaks go in my London office.
